1. About These Terms

These terms apply to your use of this website and to any project undertaken by Artisan Woodwork Ltd (“we,” “us,” “our”). By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms, together with our Privacy Policy.

2. Quotes and Estimates

All quotes are provided free of charge following a consultation and are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Quotes are based on the information and measurements available at the time and may be subject to change if the scope of work, materials, or site conditions differ once work begins.

3. Consultations

We offer a free initial consultation to discuss your requirements, take measurements, and advise on design options. Consultations may take place in person at your property or remotely, depending on the nature of the project.

4. Payment Terms

A deposit of 30% is required to confirm your order and begin design work. A progress payment of 50% is due once the frame and internal structure are complete. The final balance of 20% is due on completion of the doors and finishing.

5. Changes to Order

Any changes requested to the design, materials, or scope of work after the order has been confirmed may affect the price and timeline. We will confirm any additional costs or delays with you in writing before proceeding.

6. Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your order before design work has begun or materials have been ordered, your deposit will be refunded in full. Once design work has started or materials have been ordered on your behalf, the deposit becomes non-refundable, as it covers costs already committed on your project.

7. Installation

Installation will be arranged at a mutually agreed date and time. Please ensure the installation area is clear and accessible. Any delays caused by site access issues may affect the installation schedule.

8. Warranty

We provide a 6 month guarantee covering structural failure of the furniture, such as joints, frames, or fixings failing under normal use. This warranty does not cover cosmetic issues, surface finish, misuse, accidental damage, or normal wear and tear.

9. Liability

We carry appropriate insurance for our work. We are not liable for pre-existing issues with your property, such as uneven walls or floors, that may affect fit or finish, and we will advise you of any such issues where possible before work begins.
